Spread the word (2 minutes)
The fastest way to help is to grow the number of people paying attention. Forward our page to a neighbour, share it in your building's chat if you have one, or pass it along however you like:

Put up a poster
Got a lobby, mailroom, bulletin board, or strata noticeboard? A single poster can reach a whole building.

Talk to your strata or building
Buildings that act together are powerful. If your strata or residents' group is open to it, raise the harbour at a meeting or ask about a letter of concern. Even mentioning it to neighbours in the hallway counts. We can give you a short, ready-to-use summary — you don't have to be the expert.
Contact your City Councillor
Victoria's councillors want to hear from residents. A short, polite note asking that the project move ahead with real, binding safeguards — contained hull work, controlled lighting, real noise limits, and clear operating hours — makes a difference. Be ready for the permit decision
A new City of Victoria permit review is expected before the end of the year. When it's filed, the community gets its say: a neighbourhood (CALUC) community meeting, public comments through the City's Development Tracker, and written submissions when it reaches council.
